      BIORAPHY OF SIGMU ND FREUD      Sigmund Freud was born in the small town of Freiberg, Moravia on May 6, 1856. His father was a wool merchant with advanced thinking and a good sense of humor. His mother, an active woman, was his father's second wife, 20 years his junior. By the time he was 4 or 5 years old, his family moved to Vienna, where he spent most of his life.      As an intelligent boy and always scored highest in his class, he went on to the medical faculty at the University of Vienna in 1881. During college, he was involved in various studies under the direction of a physiology professor named Brucke.      Freud was very careful in doing research. His main focus was, he once tried to invent a special technique to stimulate brain cells. Brucke also helped him get the opportunity to continue his education. First, with the famous psychiatrist Chacot in Paris, then with Brucke's...
